Dr. Kate

Dr. Kate is a Pediatrician and mother of 2 sweet girls living in South Carolina. She attended medical school at Midwestern University in Chicago and went on to complete her residency training in Pediatrics and the Medical University of South Carolina. Frustrated by the inability to offer protection from COVID-19 to her under 5 patients (and her own children), she helped form this group. As a physician diagnosing children with COVID-19 frequently, she offers our team a unique perspective and has the medical training to help us determine the risks COVID-19 poses to children. She is passionate about protecting children and has done her best to encourage her patients and families to remain hopeful throughout the pandemic. Outside of working at the clinic and her new found love of advocacy, she can be found boating, hiking, doing yoga, or relaxing with her family!
